USCIRF report may prompt (cause) concerns -
- In the latest report of USCIRF , India was put in the lowest grade of "Countries of Particular Concern", which was rejected by our country.
- This ranking was given due to India's approach towards a particular religion i.e. muslims ( example- CAA,NRC etc.).
- This is actually a reputational issue involved because India is considered as the largest democracy and our core is in unity in diversity.
- We should not ignore it because to be in the same pool with Pakistan , China , North korea is an unfortunate thing.
- USCIRF was created by the American by "International Freedom Act of 1998 ".
- \USCIRF stands for United States Commission of International Religious Freedom's .
- Days after 55 year of old Sub Inspector of CRPF died of COVID 19 , as many as 135 personnel from the same unit have tested positive to the virus.
- CRPF stands for Central Reserve Police Force .
- It comes under Ministry of Home Affair (MHA).
- Formed - 27 july 1939.
- The CRPF's primary role lies in assisting the State/Union Territories in police operations to maintain law and order and counter insurgency .
- 7 tons of supply is sent from United Arab Emirates on Saturday for Indian Health workers fighting against COVID 19.
- It is given to India because India is going to bring its people back from Gulf countries . (mass evacuation )
- India is also going to send 88 specialist doctors and nurse staff to UAE to deal with this pandemic.
- Around 2-5 lakhs people could be evacuated (move people from a dangerous place to a safe place) back .
- IAF will thank corona worriors by a flypast on Sunday (today) at the national capital between 10 -11 am and it will have both fighter and transport aircraft flying.
- Helicopters showered flowers petal over hospitals .
- There was a great speculation about the death of KIM JUNG UN (north korean dictator) , he went through a heart surgery and their were news that he died .but he is alive and made a public appearance.
- Bengaluru's Bannerghata Biological Park (BBP) has a new programme for people with an intrest in conserving wildlife by adopting animals at the zoo.
- Display of names on an adoption board would be extended.
- 2000 rupees charge per annum for Cobra and 1.75 lakh for elephant.
