National Panchayati Raj day -
# From 2010 , 24th April is always celebrated as national panchayati raj day.
#Then P.M. Manmohan singh  declared the first National Panchayati Raj Day on 24 April 2010. He mentioned that if Panchayati Raj Institution (PRIs) functioned properly and locals participated in the development process, the Maoist threat could be countered.
Addressing the Elected Representatives, Prime Minister Narendra Modi  on 24 April 2015 called for an end to the practice of "husbands of women sarpanches" or "sarpanch pati" exercising undue influence (अवांछित प्रभाव) on the work of their wives elected to power.

# More than 33 crore people received financial assistance of Rupees 31,235 crore under the PMGKP scheme.
the money is distributed to -
Women Jan dhan Account - 10,025 cr.
Old aged, widows and disabled - 1405 cr.
PM-KISAN - 16,146 cr.
Employee under EPF - 162.11 cr.
Construction workers - 2.17 cr.

Maheshwar electricity project -
# Madhya Pradesh government has cancelled the Maheshwar electricity project.
# Maheshwar project is in khargaon district on Narmada river.
# 42,000 crore rupee is saved  from this step of government .

Wayanad wildlife sanctuary -
Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary is an animal sanctuary in Wayanad, Kerala, India. It has an extent of 344.44 km2 with four ranges namely Sulthan Bathery, Muthanga, Kurichiat and Tholpetty. A variety of large wild animals such as Indian bison, elephant, deer and tiger are found there. There are also quite a few unusual birds in the sanctuary. In particular, peafowl tend to be very common in the area. Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary is the second largest wildlife sanctuary in Kerala. It is bestowed with lush green forests and rich wildlife.This wildlife area houses some of the rare and endangered species of both flora and fauna.
