Global remittances will see a sharp fall : WORLD BANK-
Because of COVID -19 pandemic ,Global remittances are projected to experience a sharp decline of around 20 %. 
# migrant workers will lose their job and wages. 
And it is also going to happen because of decrease in oil prices. 
#  In India, remittances is likely to fall around 23% , to $64 billion .
($83 billion was given last year)

 * Remittance (प्रेषण) - meaning is a sum of money sent in payment or as a gift.
* World bank - The World Bank is an international financial institution that provides loans and grants to the governments of poorer countries for the purpose of pursuing capitals project.

No, 100 % quota for tribal teachers : SC
# A 5 judge Constitution bench of the Supreme Court (SC) held it unconstitutional to provide 100% reservation for tribal teachers in schools located in Scheduled Areas across country. 
Justice Arun Mishra called it as "obnoxious idea"

The court referred to Indira Sawhney Judgement which caps reservation at 50%.

 # Facebook buys 9.99% stake in Mukesh Ambani led jio Platform limited for 43,574 crore .
# In near future Jiomart and whtsapp will empower nearly around 3 crore small Indian kirana shops to digitally transact with every customer in their neighbourhood.

Amendment in the Epidemic Diseases Act,1897 -
# Union Government on wednesday , promulgated (घोषणा करना) an ordinance of amendment in epidemic diseases act of 1897.
It tells that if someone attacks on health workers -
* Investigation will be completed in 30 days.
* Final decision will come under 1 year.
* punishment - 3 months to 5 years of imprisonment ( कैद होना) and fine of rupees 50,000 to 2 lakhs and in severe cases it will be 6 months to 7 years and fine of 1 lakh to 5 lakh.
All offences of violence will be cognisable and non-bailable.
cognisable - संज्ञेय (cognisable offencTe means an offences in which a police officer has the authority to make an arrest without a warrant and to start an investigation with or without the permission of a court.)
non bailable - गैर जमानती
